abstract |
A novel transition metal compound having high activity as a catalyst component for olefin polymerization is provided. The present invention has five cyclopentadienyl ligands, and four cyclopentadienyl ligands have η 5 coordination with one of the metals, and have one cyclopentadienyl ligand. A novel transition metal compound in which a ligand is bridged between two transition metals of Group 4 of the periodic table, and which has a σ-π allyl type coordination.
