abstract | An object of the present invention is to form a recorded image having good dispersibility in water of a colorant, excellent long-term storage stability and dischargeability from a nozzle, high image quality and high durability with good fixability. An object of the present invention is to provide a self-dispersion type yellow pigment ink for inkjet recording that can be used. The self-dispersion yellow pigment ink of the present invention comprises at least C.I. I. Pigment Yellow 194 is a self-dispersed color organic pigment having a surface into which a sulfonic acid group is introduced by a chemical treatment, and is a monosulfonated pigment of 20 to 40% by weight and 60 to 80% by weight.
