titleOfInvention | Optically active epoxy compounds and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optically active (2S, 3R) -2,3-epoxy-3-propionic acid and a novel intermediate thereof, and an industrially safer production method thereof. SOLUTION: An optically active epoxy enone derivative represented by the following general formula (1) is oxidized with an oxidizing agent to produce an optically active epoxy ester derivative represented by the following general formula (3), and the compound is hydrolyzed. As a result, an optically active (2S, 3R) -2,3-epoxypropionic acid derivative having a substituent at the 3-position represented by the following general formula (4) is produced. Embedded image Embedded image Embedded image (In the above formula, R 1 represents a methyl group, an ethyl group, a branched, linear or cyclic alkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and R 2 represents a phenyl group, a substituted phenyl group or a tert-butyl group. ) [Selection diagram] None |
