abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a cellulose acetate film having excellent tear strength, bending strength and optical properties, and excellent long-term storage stability, and an optical film, a polarizing plate, an optical compensation film, and a liquid crystal display using the cellulose acetate film having excellent properties described above. An apparatus and a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material are provided. SOLUTION: Cellulose acylate, a photopolymerization polymer initiator represented by the following general formula (MI), having a weight average molecular weight of 2 × 10 4 or less having a photoradical generating group bonded to one end of a polymer main chain ( MI) and a cellulose acylate film produced by a series of steps including a casting step of casting a cellulose acylate composition containing the radically polymerizable monomer (A) and a light irradiation step, and the cellulose acylate An optical film, a polarizing plate, an optical compensation film, a liquid crystal display device, and a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material using a rate film.
