An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a processed seafood product in a sealed container having a good flavor and texture without a raw odor or a can odor. A raw or pre-treated fish and shellfish and a seasoning liquid containing a water extract obtained from a tea material are sealed in a sealable container, and then heat-sterilized. As the tea material, it is preferable to use a fermented tea material obtained by post-fermenting one or more kinds selected from green teas, Chinese teas, black teas, and barley tea.
