abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid extraction device having high extraction efficiency and a liquid extraction method using the same. A steam generated from a steam generator for generating high-temperature steam is received, and the steam is passed through a treatment chamber to a target object such as a plant housed therein. The steam that has passed through the processing chamber 3 is further cooled by the cooler 4. Then, a liquid squeezed liquid which has passed through the cooler 4 is obtained. In the processing chamber 3, the mounting portion 35 of the object 100 is located on the steam outlet 26 of the steam generator 2, and the steam discharging port 36 of the processing chamber 3 is located on the mounting portion 35. The cooler 4 includes a cooling pipe 42 through which water vapor passes, and water circulation systems 6 and 41 for circulating cooling water outside the cooling pipe 42.
