abstract | Provided is a method for culturing microorganisms which does not generate bubbles even without using an antifoaming agent, and as a result, does not cause a decrease in productivity due to loss of products and microorganisms due to spilling of a culture solution from a culture vessel. A method for culturing a microorganism, comprising disposing an oxygen-permeable tube in a culture solution containing the microorganism, and culturing the microorganism while passing a gas containing oxygen through the tube. [Effect] The decrease in productivity due to the loss of products and microorganisms by spilling the culture solution from the culture vessel is eliminated.
