titleOfInvention Oriented thermoelectric material and method for producing the same
abstract A method for producing an oriented thermoelectric material having a large degree of crystal orientation and having excellent thermoelectric properties and an oriented thermoelectric material formed by the production method are provided. A thermoelectric material fine particle having anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility is synthesized (step S10). Next, the aggregate of the thermoelectric fine particles is inserted into a magnetic field to obtain a molded body (step S20). Fine particles having magnetic susceptibility anisotropy can be oriented by a magnetic field. Subsequently, the formed body is densified by heat treatment, and heat treatment in a magnetic field is performed to form a bulk body having a high strength (step S30). The densification step by this heat treatment includes a sintering step of bulking the fine particle material. In the case where densification is performed by performing heat treatment (including sintering) in a magnetic field, it is possible to maintain the degree of orientation even in this step, so that a bulk body of thermoelectric material having extremely good orientation is formed. be able to.
