titleOfInvention | Phase change ink |
abstract | The present invention has a desired magenta color, heat stability, light fastness, and solubility in a phase change ink carrier, has little movement or crystallization in a printed ink layer, is hard to discolor for a long time, and has a desired high density. The present invention provides a phase change ink composition containing a colorant compound which can be mixed with a phase change ink and is easily manufactured and converted into a derivative thereof. A phase change ink composition comprising a phase change ink carrier and a coloring agent shown below. Embedded image In the formula, Y is a hydrogen atom or a bromine atom, n is an integer of 0 to 4, R 1 is an alkylene group or an arylalkylene group, X is (a) a hydrogen atom, (b) Embedded image (Wherein R 2 is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group, or an alkylaryl group), (c) an alkyleneoxy group, an aryleneoxy group, an arylalkyleneoxy group, or an alkylaryleneoxy group, or (d) Embedded image (Wherein, R 4 is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group, or an alkylaryl group).
