titleOfInvention | Thermogenic sympathetic nerve activator and composition containing the same |
abstract | A material for inhibiting lipid accumulation based on a new mechanism of inhibiting lipid accumulation is provided. A heat-generating sympathetic nerve activator comprising an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Araliaceae (Araliaceae) or an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Lotus (Nymphaaccacac) or a plant belonging to the genus Lotus (Nelumbonaceae) of the genus Nelumbo. It is contained in a composition for oral administration such as health food. As the extract, an extract with a polar solvent or a solvent-removed product thereof can be preferably exemplified. The thermogenic sympathetic activator of the present invention activates sympathetic nerves involved in thermogenesis, thereby increasing lipid metabolism and suppressing lipid accumulation.
