abstract |
A molded foam is easily removable from a mold. A cavity (14) formed between an upper mold (10) and a lower mold (12) is sealed with seal members (20a, 20b), and air is sent through a fluid injection path (22) to increase the pressure (step (b)). As a result, the urethane foam 28 in the cavity 14 is compressed and separated from the mold. Further, the upper mold joints 16a and 16b and the lower mold joints 18a and 18b are provided so that the hermetic seal can be maintained even when the mold is slightly opened. Thus, when there are the undercut portions 24a to 24e, the upper die 10 can be opened while the urethane foam 28 is compressed, and can be removed from the undercut portions 24a to 24e (steps (c) and (d)). .
