titleOfInvention Display element manufacturing method and display element
abstract The present invention provides a display element and a method for manufacturing the same, which prevent a decrease in display quality due to residual bubbles when a substrate is bonded on a binder-dispersed display layer. Kind Code: A1 A dispersion liquid in which microcapsules containing cholesteric liquid crystal as a core material is dispersed in a binder resin solution is applied and dried on a substrate on which an electrode is formed. Is formed ((B) in the figure). Next, a light shielding layer 14 is formed ((C) in the figure), and an adhesive layer 16 is formed thereon ((D) in the figure). On the other hand, the photoconductive layer 15 is formed on the substrate 11b on which the electrode 12b is formed ((E) in the figure) ((F) in the figure), and the substrate 11a after forming each layer and the substrate 11b are bonded together ( ((G) in the figure), a display element 1 is obtained. The unevenness generated on the surface of the display layer 13 is reduced by the light shielding layer 14 and the unevenness is filled by the adhesive layer 16. Even if bubbles are generated on the back surface of the light-shielding layer 14, they are invisible and do not affect display quality. [Selection] Fig. 2
