titleOfInvention Image forming toner, developing device, and developing method
abstract An object of the present invention is to obtain a toner which has both low-temperature fixability and offset resistance as compared with conventional ones and has no problem with heat-resistant storage stability, and obtains a high-quality image with good resolution and no background stain. In a toner containing at least a binder resin, a colorant, and a release agent, a crystalline polyester resin (A) and another amorphous resin (B) are incompatible with each other and undergo phase separation. In the IR spectrum analysis of the toner, absorption peaks exist in the range of 979 ± 3 cm −1 and 1609 ± 2 cm −1, and the intensity of the absorption peak existing in 979 ± 3 cm −1 (1) , Which is 0.65 to 1.50 times the intensity (2) of the absorption peak existing at 1609 ± 2 cm −1.
