abstract [PROBLEMS] To significantly reduce the amount of formalin released and to provide a wet strength equivalent to that obtained by improving the wet strength by introducing the methylol derivative of the above-mentioned ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid amide even if the amount of formalin catcher added is small. Provided is a dry pulp nonwoven fabric using a synthetic rubber latex as a binder, especially paper towel. A dry pulp nonwoven fabric obtained by applying and drying a synthetic rubber latex to a raw material fiber for a nonwoven fabric, wherein the synthetic rubber latex comprises a methylol derivative (a) of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid amide and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid A polymer obtained by polymerizing an unsaturated monomer mixture containing an acid amide (b) and an aliphatic diene monomer (c), wherein the compounding ratio of (a) and (b) is 2 ≧ (a) / (b) ≧ 0.1 (weight ratio), and the total weight of (a) and (b) is 1 to 6% by weight of the total weight of the unsaturated monomer mixture.
