abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a marking ink composition for a writing board which is suitable for a writing board such as a white board, which prevents the whitening phenomenon of a handwriting, exhibits excellent stability over time of an ink, and gives a clear drawing line. A marking ink composition for a writing board comprising at least a coloring agent, a resin, a solvent, a dibasic acid ester or a monobasic acid ester, and inorganic salts. The content of the inorganic salt is preferably 0.05% by weight to 10% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition. Examples of the inorganic salts include at least one selected from calcium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, calcium chloride hexahydrate, magnesium chloride, and magnesium chloride hexahydrate.
