titleOfInvention Light emitting device
abstract An object of the present invention is to dramatically improve heat dissipation, and furthermore, to stabilize the light output of a light emitting device, prevent deterioration, and improve the life characteristics. A light emitting device according to the present invention includes: a stem having at least a first heat sink mounted on an eye red; and a light emitting element held by the first heat sink. A second heat sink 1 ′ is formed on the eye red on the side of the first heat sink opposite to the holding surface of the light emitting element, and the light emitting element is sandwiched between the first heat sink and the second heat sink; It is electrically and thermally connected. For example, in the case of a conventional package stem, its heat dissipation is largely determined by the heat capacity of the heat sink. By adopting the configuration of the present invention, heat can be dissipated from both sides of the light emitting element, and heat radiation about twice that of the case where only the first heat sink is formed on the eye red can be easily realized. This not only eliminates the need for wires as a secondary effect, but also can simplify the process in some cases. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
