titleOfInvention How to preserve cut flowers
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for preserving cut flowers, which can preserve cut flowers for a long period of time while maintaining the same appearance as fresh flowers, and in which the immersion solution can be used repeatedly as much as possible. An immersion solution (3) obtained by mixing a polyhydric alcohol (1) such as ethylene glycol, glycerin, or polyethylene glycol and an alcohol (2) comprising at least one of methanol, ethanol, butanol, isopropanol, and cellosolve is provided. The flower portion 4 of the fresh flower is immersed, and the tissue water and air present in the flower portion are replaced with the polyhydric alcohol 1. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
