titleOfInvention | Liquid crystalline polyester and method for producing the same |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a liquid crystalline polyester which does not generate blisters (foaming) when formed into a molded product. SOLUTION: [1] A hydroxycarboxylic acid, a diol, a dicarboxylic acid and an acetic acid are reacted in a reaction vessel to obtain a reaction product containing an acetylated product, and the reaction product is transferred to a polymerization reactor, and then the reaction product is transferred to a reactor. A method for producing a liquid crystalline polyester, comprising charging acetic acid, transferring the acetic acid to a polymerization vessel, and polycondensing the reaction product. [2] The production method according to [1], wherein solid-phase polymerization is further performed. [3] A liquid crystalline polyester obtained by the method of [1] or [2].
