abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for regenerating a coal-fired denitration catalyst which is effective and can be carried out at low cost. In regenerating a deteriorated coal-burning denitration catalyst, after removing dust components physically attached from the catalyst surface, the catalyst is washed with water and dried, and the catalyst is vanadium compound or tungsten with an acid such as oxalic acid.
