abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a sample pretreatment device capable of removing a sudden change in an indicated value due to a suspension. A strainer (8) and a partition wall (9) are provided in the center of an adjustment tank (1) for collecting a sample and performing physical pretreatment, and are divided into adjustment chambers (1a, 1b). The sample inlet 2 and the pinch valve 6 in the adjustment chamber 1a, the upper outlet 4 for taking out a supernatant sample in the adjustment chamber 1b, the lower outlet 5 for taking out a sample in a stirring state, the pinch valve 7, the stirring blade 10, and the stirring blade 10 and the stirring blade. A rotating electric motor 11 is provided. The upper outlet 4 and the lower outlet 5 are connected to a water quality monitor 14 via a two-way solenoid valve 12 and a solenoid valve 13. These controls are performed by the control unit 15 in the water quality monitor. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
