abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a tube-installing technique which can be installed over a long distance even with a tube having a small inner diameter. A pipe is formed by drilling a horizontal hole in a ground with an excavator, arranging a plurality of pipes in the horizontal hole, and connecting the plurality of pipes to the ground. This is a technique for installing the body 5, in which a plurality of pipes 3 provided with the excavator 1 in the front and the propulsion jack 15 in the rear are disposed, and formed by contraction of the propulsion jack 15 behind the propulsion jack 15. The pipe material 4 formed by assembling the segments 8 is disposed in the space 7 to be formed, and then the propulsion jack 15 is extended to press the assembled pipe material 4 supported by the reaction force receiver to thereby push the propulsion.
