abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a bulky water-absorbent nonwoven fabric having good absorbency and water retention and having high strength even when wet. A non-woven fabric comprising a mixture of a pulp fiber (A) and a heat-adhesive conjugate short fiber (B) and a non-woven fabric comprising a heat-adhesive conjugate short fiber (B) are laminated at least one layer each. The nonwoven fabric structure, wherein the heat-adhesive conjugate staple fibers (B) or the heat-adhesive conjugate staple fibers (B) and the pulp fiber (A) are substantially bonded, and the pulp fiber (A) is A water-absorbing nonwoven structure, comprising 20 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the nonwoven structure.
