abstract |
Provided is an image forming apparatus and an image forming method capable of obtaining high-quality image with little image deterioration at low cost by using a general toner without transferring by an electric field and without image deterioration due to transfer. I do. A transfer sheet is sandwiched between a contacting photosensitive member and a transfer roller, and pressure is applied to transfer a toner image on the photosensitive member to the transfer sheet and simultaneously perform primary fixing. The temporarily fixed transfer paper is further conveyed by a transfer belt 53, and is passed through rollers 71 and 72 to perform secondary fixing. The temperature of the transfer belt 53 is heated by the heating means 73 and 74 and is maintained at a constant temperature. A magnetic toner having a volume resistivity of 1 × 10 9 Ω · cm or more and a weight average particle diameter of 3.0 to 10.0 μm is used. The fixing property of the toner to the transfer paper is defined as primary fixing <secondary fixing. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
