abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a leather-like sheet having improved light fastness capable of absorbing more ultraviolet rays in a wavelength range of 300 nm to 360 nm. The method for producing a leather-like sheet according to the present invention is a leather-like sheet comprising ultra-fine fibers and a polyurethane resin, wherein the sheet-like substance comprises a reaction product of an epoxy compound and an ultraviolet absorber. The method is characterized in that a sheet-shaped material is provided with an ultraviolet absorber to control the absorbance of the sheet-like material by a spectrophotometer in the range of 300 nm to 360 nm within the range of 1.4 to 2.0. .
