abstract | A method for producing stereoregular polysubstituted acetylene using an inexpensive catalyst is provided. The present invention provides a method for producing a polysubstituted acetylene by using a nickel-based transition metal compound represented by the following general formula (I) as a catalyst and polymerizing a substituted acetylene compound represented by the following general formula (II).
