[Problem] To provide an egg with a low cholesterol level which can be produced at low cost and has no problem in safety. The konjac potato and / or an extract extracted from the konjac potato with an organic solvent, preferably an extract extracted from konjac potato flour using ethanol, and a feed additive thereof are added. A method for producing an egg with a reduced cholesterol level, comprising causing a poultry to orally ingest a feed and then laying the egg, and an egg obtained by the method.
