Optical compensator for liquid crystal display and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract |
The present invention provides an optical compensator that has a wide viewing angle characteristic of a liquid crystal display and is excellent in uniformity and optical characteristics of a layer that can be easily manufactured by a roll-to-roll method. An optical compensator for a liquid crystal display comprising a transparent polymer support, an alignment layer, and an optically anisotropic layer containing a nematic liquid crystal, wherein the optically anisotropic layer is entangled with the colorless polymer. An optical compensator comprising a colorless polymer having a mass average molecular weight exceeding the molecular weight. [Selection diagram] None |
