titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for introducing substance to be introduced into animal cells using electroinjection method
abstract A method for introducing a substance to be introduced into a cell into an animal cell, a fertilized egg, or the like, in which the load of cells into which the substance to be introduced into the cell is introduced is reduced, and the substance to be introduced into the cell can be easily and reliably introduced. Provided is an apparatus that employs a microinjection method that has been conventionally used for introducing a substance to be introduced into an animal cell into a cell, and applies a method of electrophoretically moving the substance to be introduced into the cell to this method. Then, a practical method and device capable of easily and surely introducing a substance to be introduced into cells into animal cells without causing excessive cell loading has been developed. According to the method and the apparatus, when introducing a genetic material such as a foreign gene into an embryo at the time of producing a transgenic animal or the like, a small amount of the genetic material can be easily and surely produced without excessive load of cells. Can be injected directly into the nucleus of the embryo, ensuring that the genetic material is introduced into the embryo.
