abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an organic photoreceptor having improved sharpness and improved transferability and cleaning property of a toner, preventing the occurrence of image defects such as white spots and the like even when a small particle size toner is used. It is an object of the present invention to provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the organic photoreceptor. An organic photoreceptor having at least a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, wherein the surface layer of the organic photoreceptor has a number average primary particle diameter dn of 1 to 50 nm and a proportion of particles of 60 nm or more.
