titleOfInvention | Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer fiber |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide easily an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer fiber having good coloring properties and excellent wet heat resistance. The basic skeleton is an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene content of 25 to 70 mol% and a saponification degree of 95% or more, and a unit having a sulfonic acid group or a sulfonate group in the main chain thereof. A modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) copolymerized with 0.05 to 1.0 mol% with respect to the total number of moles of ethylene units and vinyl alcohol units constituting a basic skeleton, and a polyamide resin ( B) is mixed in a mass ratio of (A) :( B) = 55: 45 to 97: 3 and the copolymer (A) has a polyamide resin having a size of 1 to 300 nm ( An ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based copolymer fiber in which islands composed of B) are present in a fiber cross section of 10 fibers / μm 2 or more and have an insolubility in DMSO of 5% or more.
