abstract An aluminum alloy rolled plate for a lithographic printing plate support is provided which has a uniform electrolytic graining property and excellent local development resistance of a photosensitive layer. It contains Cu 0.0001 to 0.03%, Ti 0.005 to 0.03%, Fe 0.1 to 0.5%, Si 0.05 to 0.20%, and the balance is substantially made of Al. When rolling the resulting Al alloy, the oil pit depth on the surface of the rolled plate is adjusted to 3 μm or less by adjusting the viscosity of the rolling oil in the final cold rolling to 4.5 cSt or less.
