abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a copolyester having excellent productivity and a high degree of polymerization suitable for molding into engineering plastics, sheets and films. A raw material containing terephthalic acid as a main dicarboxylic acid component and 20 to 80 mol% of ethylene glycol and 80 to 20 mol% of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol as a main glycol component is subjected to an esterification reaction. A method for producing a copolyester in which a polycondensation reaction is performed, wherein the oligomer properties (AVo, OHV, OH%) after the esterification reaction satisfy a specific range. |
