titleOfInvention Fluorine compound and water repellent
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a fluorine compound and a water repellent which exhibit excellent water repellency over a long period of time and are soluble in lower alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents having low toxicity. SOLUTION: General formula (1) R 1 CH {(CH 2 ) 1-a COOR 2 } (CH 2 ) a COOR f —OCO (CH 2 ) b CH {(CH 2 ) 1-b COOR 2 } R 1 (1) (Wherein, R 1 represents an aliphatic alkyl group or an aliphatic alkenyl group or hydrogen; R 2 represents a fluoroalkyl group, a fluoroalkenyl group or hydrogen; and R f represents perfluoro. A represents a polyether group, and a and b are each 1 or 0.) and a water repellent containing the fluorine compound.
