titleOfInvention | Catalyst recovery method |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 Abstract: A platinum group element used in hydride production widely performed in various fields of the chemical industry, particularly in a post-treatment of a hydrogenation reaction using a supported catalyst in which a platinum group element-containing catalyst is supported on a carrier. Provided is a method for efficiently separating and recovering a contained catalyst from a reaction mixture. A catalyst supported on a carrier is subjected to a hydrogenation reaction, a catalyst containing a platinum group element which is desorbed from the carrier during the hydrogenation reaction and is present in a reaction mixture, and a complexing agent is added to the reaction mixture. By carrying out the complexing treatment, the carrier is re-supported on a carrier and separated and recovered from the reaction mixture. This catalyst recovery method is particularly preferably applied to the production of a hydrogenated conjugated diene-based polymer, and the polymer can be produced industrially advantageously.
