abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a building block 1 that is lightweight, flexible, hardly stains, and has an excellent texture and color. A building block (1) includes a main body (2) and a coating layer (3). The main body 2 is composed of a polymer molded body containing air bubbles. A preferred base polymer used for the main body 2 is an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. The main body 2 is colored by a coloring agent. The coating layer 3 covers the entire surface of the main body 2. The coating layer 3 prevents air bubbles from being exposed. Since the coating layer 3 is colorless and transparent, the color and texture of the main body 2 can be observed from the outside through the coating layer 3. The coating layer 3 is based on a thermoplastic elastomer or rubber. The thickness of the coating layer 3 is 10 μm or more and 1000 μm or less. [Selection] Fig. 2 |
