abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a novel method for producing a calcium carbonate coating that can adjust the concentration of a raw material substance in a solution, does not use carbon dioxide gas, and does not perform complicated repetitive operations. In forming a calcium carbonate film on the surface of a polymer compound film, an aqueous solution of calcium halide and an aqueous solution of carbonate are introduced into a polymer electrolyte-containing solution in which the polymer compound film is immersed. A method for producing a calcium carbonate coating on a surface of a polymer compound film, wherein a calcium carbonate coating is formed on the surface of the polymer compound film.
