titleOfInvention | Method for producing aromatic carbonates |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for efficiently producing an alkylaryl carbonate by reacting a dialkyl carbonate with a phenol. SOLUTION: The reactor is divided into a plurality of reaction zones in which the pressure becomes higher in the later stage, the liquid phase flows through each reaction zone sequentially, and flows out from the last reaction zone, and the gas phase is directed to the liquid phase. It is moved in the flow direction, withdrawn from the uppermost reaction zone and fed to the distillation column. The by-product alkyl alcohol is distilled off from the top of the distillation column, and the bottom liquid mainly composed of dialkyl carbonate is returned to the reactor. At least a part of the phenols as the reaction raw material is supplied to the uppermost reaction zone, but the dialkyl carbonate may be supplied to any reaction zone. [Selection diagram] None |
