To measure a component concentration in a body fluid, a small amount of exudate is collected without pain, and continuous measurement can be performed easily and for a long time without special treatment. A measuring unit is placed on the surface of a living body, and the inside of a glass container is depressurized by a decompression tank to obtain a subcutaneous exudate from the subcutaneous surface of the living body. After reaching 37 and 36, the sample reaches the metal film 30 as a sample to be measured. Light from the light source 21 passes through the prism 22, is reflected by the metal film 30, and is received on the linear array sensor 23. A minimum intensity position on the linear array sensor 23 generated by surface plasmon resonance is obtained, a resonance angle is detected from the position, and the concentration of the substance to be measured in the sample to be measured is calculated based on the resonance angle and the position.
