titleOfInvention Plant growth medium
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a plant growing medium using mud deposited on the bottom of a dam lake. A dewatered cake is obtained by adding a coagulant and a dehydration aid selected from the group consisting of quicklime, slaked lime and cement to dredged soil obtained by dredging mud deposited on the bottom of a dam lake. After adding 10% to 50% by volume of woody compost to the dehydrated cake, deposit and store it. Then, 10% to 50% by volume of peat moss is obtained in the medium from which peat moss is obtained based on the obtained sediment. The plant growth medium obtained by adding in an amount is a problem caused by poor permeability of the mud, and also has a high pH, odor, lumps due to mutual adhesion, anaerobic, phosphate deficiency, etc. of the dewatered cake after dredging. Is a medium having physicochemical properties suitable for plant cultivation. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
