An oil gel skin external preparation provides a means for improving antiseptic power in place of the addition of parabens. SOLUTION: 1,2-hexylene glycol is contained in an oil gel skin external preparation such as a lip color, a cheek color, a foundation and an ointment pharmaceutical composition. As the oil gel preparation, 1) the content of solid fat, semi-solid fat and oil is 30% by weight or more of the whole preparation, and 2) The content of polyhydric alcohol such as glycerin is 5% by weight or less of the whole preparation. 3) A general term for a preparation in which the water content is 3% by weight or less of the whole preparation and 4) the properties of the preparation are solid or semi-solid.
