titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic toner |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a toner in which offset does not occur even at a low fixing temperature and which has a wide temperature range in which no offset occurs. Kind Code: A1 In an electrophotographic toner using a styrene-acrylic resin as a binder resin, the molecular weight distribution in the molecular weight distribution measured by GPC of a THF-soluble component in the toner peaks at 3000 to 6500 and 600000 to 800000, respectively. The peak component having a molecular weight of 3,000 to 6,500 has an area ratio of 60 to 80%, the softening point of the toner is Tm (° C.), and the toner is separated from a DSC curve measured by a differential scanning calorimeter. When the peak temperature of the endothermic peak at the time of temperature rise corresponding to the agent is Wp (° C.), it is characterized by 10 ≦ Tm−Wp ≦ 60. [Selection diagram] None |
