To provide an infrared-sensitive composition having excellent processability (development latitude) when the activity of a developer is changed when used in an image forming layer of a lithographic printing plate precursor. (A) a resin, (B) a novolak resin, and (C) a photothermal conversion substance, wherein (A) the resin has at least (1) a polymerizable monomer having two or more carboxylic acids; (2) An infrared sensitive composition obtained by copolymerizing at least one selected from (meth) acrylic acid esters, (meth) acrylamides and styrene derivatives.
