A biodegradable conjugate fiber comprising a first component and a second component, wherein at least a part of the surface of the conjugate fiber is formed of the second component continuously in the fiber length direction. Wherein the second component is an aliphatic aromatic copolyester having a long-chain branched structure in the molecule, and the first component is an aliphatic polyester having a higher melting point than the second component.
