abstract [Object] To remove impurities from 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetone dihydrate containing impurities. SOLUTION: 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetone dihydrate containing impurities is converted into an aromatic hydrocarbon, an aliphatic hydrocarbon, and the like, which are difficult to dihydrate. Dispersing in an organic solvent selected from an alicyclic hydrocarbon or a fluorine-based solvent, followed by filtration and separation, or by contacting the dihydrate with the organic solvent as a washing liquid by spraying the organic solvent as a cleaning solution to remove impurities.
