titleOfInvention Monoclonal antibody, hybridoma, cell isolation method, isolated cells, immunological diagnostics
abstract The present invention provides a novel monoclonal antibody that can efficiently separate neural stem cells and progenitor cells by selectively recognizing neural stem cells and progenitor cells. The present invention has a property of selectively recognizing an antigen expressed in cells located in the ependymal layer and the ependymal lower layer region of a human brain tissue. It is a monoclonal antibody capable of selectively immunostaining the lower region of the ependymal layer. By selectively recognizing cells other than neural stem cells and progenitor cells among brain nerve cells, neural stem cells and progenitor cells can be efficiently separated from human brain tissue. Since cells other than neural stem cells and progenitor cells are selectively recognized, a fluorescent substance is not deposited on target stem cells or progenitor cells, so that safety of the isolated stem cells or progenitor cells can be ensured.
