titleOfInvention | Method for producing optically active lactone compound and complex used in the method |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing an optically active lactone compound that can further improve the enantiomeric excess. Further, the present invention provides a catalyst suitable for such a method for producing a lactone compound. SOLUTION: In a solvent, a cyclic ketone compound is used as a catalyst by using a Zr (salen) complex represented by the following formula (I) or the following formula (II) as a catalyst, and hydrogen peroxide and a urea-hydrogen peroxide adduct ( A method for producing an optically active lactone compound, comprising conducting a Bayer-Villiger reaction with at least one oxidizing agent selected from the group consisting of UHP). (In the formulas (I) and (II), Ar 1 each independently represents an aryl group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms, and Y each independently represents a phenoxy group or an alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms.) Further, it is a Zr (salen) complex represented by the above formula (I) or (II). [Selection diagram] None |
