titleOfInvention | Method for producing optically active α-hydroxy ketone |
abstract | An optically active α-hydroxy ketone is produced economically with a higher yield using a microorganism. The object of the present invention is to incorporate a pyruvate decarboxylase gene of yeast into a microorganism, culture the highly expressed microorganism, and convert pyruvate to a compound of the formula (1). R 1 -CHO (1) (Here, R 1 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an aryl group, or an alkenyl group.) Formula (2) characterized in that an aldehyde represented by the following formula is added to a culture solution. R 1 —CH (OH) —CO—CH 3 (2) (Here, R 1 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an aryl group, or an alkenyl group.) Is solved by producing the optically active α-hydroxyketone represented by the formula (1) with high efficiency. [Selection diagram] None |
