abstract (57) Abstract: An absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable upper layer, an absorbent core layer, and a permeable outer cover, wherein a permeable inner laminate is provided between the absorbent core and the outer cover. The breathable inner laminate includes a breathable film and a nonwoven filament web, and is at least as breathable as the outer cover. The breathable inner laminate, due to thermal insulation, substantially reduces the dampness that occurs on the outer surface of the outer cover when the article is warmed after liquid release, without substantially reducing damp during use I do.
