(57) [Summary]nThe present invention provides a method for sealing the injection site of a tissue injected with a therapeutic agent to enhance efficacy or drug intake. The invention also provides a method of dispensing a therapeutic agent to a tissue, wherein the method requires injecting the therapeutic agent into the tissue, followed by sealing the injection site or sealing to avoid leakage of the therapeutic agent. Not enough time to attach the injection device to the tissue. In one embodiment, high frequency ablation is used to seal the injection site as the needle is removed from the tissue. In another embodiment, the site is sealed by resistive heating, laser heating or solid emboli to fill or solidify the site. |
