(57) [Summary] A positive power anterior intraocular implant (1) for placing in a phakic eye to correct a refractive error caused by hyperopia, wherein at least one convex surface (5, 6) is provided. Having an artificial positive refractive lens and means for placing said lens in the anterior chamber of the eye, wherein contact of said lens with anatomical lenses and anatomical tissue such as corneal endothelium and iris is avoided. And the means for arranging avoid contact with the iris. The present invention further provides a method for making such an implant, and a method for correcting a refractive error caused by hyperopia of a patient, the method comprising: an artificial positive refractive lens having at least one convex surface; And means for placing a lens.
